Project IT Manager

Our customer is a leading service company that works within the oil, gas and offshore wind sectors. They have many exciting projects ongoing, and have recently won several interesting projects that are about to start up or will start in the near future.

For their organization in Haugesund we are now looking for a Project IT Manager.

Duration: ASAP - 6 months
Location: Haugesund
Other: Only candidates already located in Norway, will be evaluated

Job Responsibilities:

• Define and describe all relevant IT/IS input to tenders
• Manage and deliver IT/IS capabilities according to contract commitments
• Advisory services to tender/project management
• Take part in discussions with end-customers and suppliers on all aspects of IT
• Resource Management, teaming
• Planning and follow-up all IS/IT related activities in line with overall project plans, follow-up and reporting to tender/project management
• Be the single point of contact to the Client, other contractors, subcontractors and vendors on all issues related to IT

Required Education:

• Master’s Degree or Business Degree in IT/IS or Management or other related subjects.
• Master’s Degree or Business Degree in Engineering

Required Work Experience:
Preferable experience from engineering business and IT in large and complex organizations. Experience from and education within Project Management.
 
Required Qualifications: 
In addition to education, and experience, individual capabilities; pro-active, independent, team-oriented,
good communication skills, structured, target and plan oriented
