The role and key areas of responsibility: 

As a Sales / Business Development Consultant you will be responsible for identifying and qualifying new business opportunities with existing and new customers. This will involve maintaining and growing a strong customer base within the allocated sector (either managed desktop, projects & consulting or Public Cloud), finding and qualifying new business opportunities and maintaining a healthy pipeline for future deals. The Sales / Business Development Consultant is responsible for the entire sales process, including all communication between the suspect/prospect/customer and Basefarm until the contract is signed and a hand-over to Implementation or Service Management is completed.  In total we are looking for three new colleagues, whom will all be working with different areas: managed desktop, projects & consulting and Public Cloud.

 

We are looking for a self-driven and motived colleague, that has a team focused mentality and thrive in a fast-paced environment. A personal interest in technology is a big plus, but not a requirement. 

 

For this position you should have:

  • Minimum 3 years relevant working experience
  • Experience within a technical sales / B2B environment (preferably selling managed services, Iaas/Paas outsourcing, public cloud services or professional / consultancy services)
  • Experience of building, growing, and managing a sales pipeline from start to finish
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills in Norwegian and English
  • Strong networking skills and ability to engage stakeholders at all levels (including C-level)
  • Experience with Pardot/Salesforce

 

Experience in selling Big Data, IoT, Cloud, services would be a plus, but not a set requirement.
