We are currently strengthening our effort to deliver R&D and innovative services to customers in the medical device and pharma packaging industry. We will strengthen our team with a skilled person to define, develop and manage medium and large client projects, for product and application development and to understand and meet the requirements from our healthcare industry customers. Norner is supporting UN Sustainability Goals and ambitions towards a more sustainable world.
Your responsibility will be in areas such as:
- Project management and execution of projects with high customer satisfaction
- Development of polymer product components and prototype products meeting the desired function, quality and regulatory requirements as specified by our customers. Development often in close collaboration with other experts and technical teams in Norner.
- Utilization and development of thermoplastic processing methods including prototype production and performance evaluation.
- Identify, develop and validate test methods to characterize the properties and quality of polymer materials, prototypes and finished products. This includes implementation of methods specified in various relevant standards as e.g. European & US Pharmacopeia and ISO standards.
- Develope applications to national and international funding organisations in close cooperation with customers.
- Technical sales and marketing activities together with Norner business development teams
Your qualifications will preferably be:
- PhD or Master’s degree in Material Science and/or Polymer processing
- Preferably 4 years of relevant industrial experience
- Experience from the polymer industry value chain and/or healthcare industry
We value knowledge in one or several of the following areas:
- Medical grade polymers and test methods according to applicable standards
- Processing of thermoplastic materials into health care devices and/or packaging systems; Injection moulding, film blowing, 3D printing, thermoforming and alike.
- Experience with Quality Management System like ISO-9001 and ISO-13485
