Head of HSEQ & Test-Lab

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for someone that can lead the development of a world class safety culture, establish a test-lab and run a highly professional quality function. That is quite a combination! Battery cell production is a challenging environment for safety and quality. Freyr needs the right leader of our quality function to master that challenge.

Responsibilities include:

• Provide active design, strategic leadership, and advocacy of a strong HSEQ culture.
• Drive the development of “in-line” production testing and the use of automation and digital platforms in work processes.
• Facilitate risk-analysis and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure FREYR’s compliance to regulatory requirements

Head of HSEQ & Test-Lab reports to Production Director. 

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• Minimum 5 years experience in HSE- and Quality leadership roles
• Minimum 3 years experience in a managerial role, preferably operations, HSE, Quality or Engineering
• Knowledge of and proven expertise in various process improvement technologies and approaches
• Understanding- and good knowledge of regulatory requirements related to HSE
• Degree in a technical field, preferably at Masters level
