Freyr are seeking two Quality Engineers

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for people that can help develop a world class safety culture, establish a test-lab and run a highly professional quality function. That is quite a combination!

Battery cell production is a challenging environment for safety and quality. As quality engineer you will employ innovative techniques, working collaboratively with other team members and business stakeholders to design and develop Quality process and ensure "zero defects" for our products.
One of the roles will focus more on process quality, the other on raw material quality. Both will be a part of following up the building of the first factory in terms of installation and ramp-up, in addition to optimalisation

• Be a strong advocate of a strong HSEQ culture.
• Participate in the development of “in-line” production testing and the use of automation and digital platforms in work processes.
• Facilitate risk-analysis and drive issue resolution.
• Ensure FREYR’s compliance to regulatory requirements
• Track supplier performance
• Participate in product and process audits

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• Minimum 5 years experience in quality control related work
• University degree in technical field

Advantageous:

• Experience with battery, semiconductor or automotive production
• Understanding of Lean, Six Sigma and/or Kaizen, with certifications

The Quality Engineers reports to Head of HSEQ & Test-Lab in Mo.
