The facilities will be located in the Mo i Rana industrial complex in Northern Norway, leveraging Norway’s highly skilled workforce and abundant, low-cost renewable energy sources from hydro and wind in a crisp, clear and energized environment. Corporate headquarters are located in the Oslo area.

JOB DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a Materials Purchaser to tender, negotiate, award and manage materials contracts for all materials required in the battery supply chain. This is a challenging role that will also be involved in the development of new supply chains in the Nordic region.

• Establish Contract strategies
• Prepare Pre-Qualifications
• Prepare ITT Packages
• Tender Evaluation
• Recommendation to Award
• Contract Management/ Contractor Performance Management
• Contract Close Out and Lessons Learned
• Comply with procurement procedures
• Offer Compliance Support to Department (CTO & Operations)
• Management of Contracting and Tendering Systems and ERP System

The Materials Purchaser is reporting to Supply and Procurement Manager

QUALIFICATIONS
Required:

• Minimum of 5 years practical experience in a procurement role
• Experience in a role supporting supply chain operations
• Experience in tendering, negotiating and management of materials contracts
• Knowledge of supplier performance management.
• Experience working with Target Cost contracts
• Degree qualification
• Fluent in English

Advantagous:

• Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, operations and technology
• MS Office and ERP knowledge
• CIPS Chartership
• Business Development
