The VP Finance heads Höegh LNG's Finance and Treasury team and manages the group's debt funding strategy. The group has a debt portfolio of asset-backed financing as well as unsecured bonds amounting to about USD 2 bn. The Finance and Treasury team is also responsible for financial modelling and planning, as well as the hedging strategy and its execution for interest rate and exchange rate risk.
The VP Finance will manage the group's bank relationships, lead all debt financing and refinancing processes, and ensure timely information and reporting to the group's diversified range of international lending banks. Moreover, the position will support Höegh LNG's commercial teams in the negotiation of commercial agreements and the structuring of projects.
The VP Finance reports to and works closely with Höegh LNG's Chief Financial Officer.
The relevant candidates have relevant higher education and minimum 10 years of relevant experience. You have hands-on experience with debt financing processes, preferably within the maritime sector, and with established bank relationships. You combine a commercial mindset, good negotiation skills, energy and drive, a solution-oriented attitude, and the ability to adapt to diverse situations with diverse business cultures. Moreover, the candidate needs to be fluent in the English language.
