Mechanic-MudCube Assembly line

Main responsibilities:

• Comply with the requirements in Cubility Management System

• Allocating all parts as required from production warehouse

• Assembly MudCubes from approved parts mechanically as well as some electrical scope

• Factory acceptance testing of completed units

• Participate in preservation & packing of units for delivery

• Update the company records using our tool Highstage

• Continuous improvement of assembly line arrangement

• Continuous improvement of assembly line parts warehouse arrangement

• Continuous improvement of parts by assembly experience

• Continuous improvement of assembly methods and sequence by assembly experience

• Assist warehouse with relevant processes for Quality Control (QC) and goods receipt

• Report progress of selected areas of specific interest

  Education: 

• Prefer candidates with formal industrial fitter (Industri montør) education

• Additional automation or electrical education will beneficial 

• Driver’s license for fork lift and for car class B

• Qualification to operate overhead cranes

• Lack of formal educations may be compensated by relevant additional experience

  Work experience/competence: 

• Mechanical experience from assembly lines or other relevant experience

• Experience from LEAN process thinking will be preferred

• Ability to create, read and follow written instructions / procedures

• Excellent communication skills in English and Norwegian

• Accurate, structured and organized approach to solving tasks

• Good communication and collaborate skills

• Self-driven, starter, show initiative and enthusiasm

• Ability to create, read and follow written instructions / procedures

• Ability to create and review reports and documents in a structured and traceable manner

• Specific interest for Quality Control (QC) of parts 

IT knowledge:

• Good knowledge in Microsoft applications.

• General experience from ERP systems will be an advantage
