Who are we looking for?

To meet our clients' increased demand for help to solve their complexity, we are now looking for more experienced Business Designers to join our Oslo team. To succeed in this role, you will need to be business-savvy. An entrepreneurial and curious mindset is beneficial. As will strong analytical abilities, creative problem-solving skills, and numeric acumen. You have at least a couple of years of experience leading design teams in addition to several years with hands-on design and development of both digital products and services. Your sweet spot is in the intersection between human needs and business impact. You have a proven ability to initiate, create, design, and lead client projects and relationships. You get your hands dirty, get things done, and take pride in premium client deliveries.

About you

We hope you have a design-related academic background and a couple of years of experience as a consultant. That said, a proven track record of successfully turning insight and research into strategy and viable business for clients will also do the trick. As long as you can spot business opportunities everywhere, have extensive knowledge of design processes, are comfortable with project management, topped with excellent workshop and facilitation skills, we're eager to hear more from you!

What will you be doing?

As a Business Designer in EGGS, you will take on a hybrid role.

• You will develop client relationships, deliver end-to-end projects, drive team engagement, and ensure timely deliveries of high-quality.
• You will be heavily involved in bids, pitching, and sales work. New biz with both existing and new clients is always on our agendas!
• Hands-on design work will be integral. Designing and leading research to understand the client and user needs, testing hypotheses and prototypes, and improve existing or new concepts will be your bread and butter.
• You'll be validating new business opportunities, key desirability, and viability assumptions. Business models, strategies, organizational structures, processes, and roadmaps are some of the things you'll be designing. A key success factor will be your ability to communicate complex information.
• As an essential member of our team, we also want you to contribute actively to our Business Design practice's strategic direction and development.
