On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for Material lead/Engineer

Job Description:

• Function in the role as Material Lead and/or Material Engineer.
• Ensure material integrity in projects: give input to technical requirements, oversee materials engineering and construction.
• Review of regulations and internal requirements to assess their effect on the project.
• Secure technical integrity and barriers in design and execution, and identify and address risks/concerns.
• Obtain relevant design and operation experience from similar projects and installations in production.
• Contribute to engineering efficiency within own discipline
• Push and challenge contractors on, schedule, deliveries, documents and cost.
• Ensure efficient use of package specifications and standardized solutions.
• Establish plans for risk based follow up with reference to contract follow up strategy and experience from other projects.
• Establish regular contact with contractor discipline responsible.
• Collaborate with discipline network/leading advisor/chief engineer.

Education/Experience:

Competence requirements
At least 10 years of experience from project work, including engineering, procurement, fabrication and commissioning
Fluent in English

Language:

Norwegian
English
