On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Material and Surface Protection Engineer
Job Description:
- Support and follow up of FPSO Contractor in the execution phase of the project with a focal point for material and surface protection engineering.
- Review, provide input and give management guidance on architecture, HVAC, electro/instrument/telecom, structures, technical notes, technical requisitions, technical quiries, changes and deveations under this scope
- Ensure technical and regulatory compliance
- Provide management with overview of identified gaps and proposed mitigation measures / deviation processes
- Actively resolves engineering issues for identified systems
- Contribute to Balder X being delivered on time , to cost and to the right quality.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor/Master Degree in relevant subjects
- 10 years + with similiar experience
- Specialist Knowledge :
- Metallic Materials
- Welding
- NDT
- Surface Protection
- Corrosion Protection
- Norwegian
- English
