We are looking for a Project Manager for an engagement for a period of 18 months. In this position you will be part of the MacGregor Sourcing and Supply Chain Team with the responsibility to drive Outsourcing programs for products in our Fishery and Research Business Line. This position is located in Bodøog Averø. Oyher locations may be considered. You will report to Director Strategic Sourcing and Supply Chain.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Management of production transfer projects from initiation to completion
• Build up a robust supply chain and optimize supplier portfolio for outsourced productions with the goal of delivering on time and quality while supporting Business Line need for cost reduction and footprint
• Drive Cost reduction programs
• Be the main contact for the transfer project for the Fishery & Research organization
• Ensure operations in accordance with MacGregor, Cargotec standards, and applicable national rules and regulations.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Ideally you have:

Education:

• Commercial or Technical background at Master or Bachelor level or equivalent. Extensive experience and proven track record may compensate for some missing formal education

Experience:

• > 5 years of international sourcing and Supply Management with a proven track record in supplier development and outsourcing of production
• High technical knowledge and understanding of production processes.
• Experience in working with product cost optimization
• Experience with category strategy implementation
• Experience in product transfer operations

Competencies:

• Fluent in One Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written
• Polish (or other Slavic language) skills preferred
• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with ability to close arguments and agreements
• Strong presentation and writing skills with ability to communicate clearly and express self well in groups and in one-to-one conversations 
• Knowledge of Supply Chain including Logistic and International Transportation
• Knowledge of MacGregor products and supplier base preferred 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships while remaining focused on the key deliverables
• Wide supplier network with knowledge and understanding of alternative solutions
• Positive and motivating Leadership skills
• Structured and Business mindset.
