On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Subsea Controls Engineer
Job Description:
- Provision of project engineering assistance to Engineering Manager and SPS Team in the Subsea Alliance
- Supporting interface for topsides and SPS interfaces concerning the SPS control system, the Modification alliance and the SAS vendor
- Support the Engineering leadership team in providing technical support including technical quality and reliability
- General support in document review
- Follow up engineering within the control system workpack on behalf of Company. The scope is performed in an alliance, and the alliance principles shall govern in the cooperation with supplier.
- Contribute in engineering within the system discipline together with system integration team.
- Follow up manufacturing and ITP activities at SPS supplier sites and sub vendor sites on behalf of company.
- Participate in integration of subsea control system with SAS supplier, including onshore testing.
- Participate and facilitate installation and commissioning of control system for brownfield tie-backs.
- Develop functional requirements for SAS implementation for subsea control system based on existing asset configuration and project requirements.
Essential Education:
- Master or Bachelor Degree in relevant discipline
Essential experience and job requirements:
- Must be able to speak, read, and write English and Norwegian fluently.
- Experience working on projects with SPS control systems.
- Significant experience with design phase (SPS scopes)
- Demonstrable experience managing technical facilities interfaces
- Good knowledge of the latest version of the ISO 13628 series and API 17F
Other requirements:
- Strong planning, interpersonal, communication, influencing, and organizational skills essential.
- Must have high motivation to manage the interfaces and be a team player.
- Ability to define and prioritize issues and solve problems through networking with the involved parties
- Ability to interface effectively with people of all levels, both internal and third parties.

- Norwegian
- English
