Do you have the leadership skills necessary to manage projects for a high-tech automotive supplier? We are looking for the right person to lead and secure project management excellence in a fast paced and growing business segment. Our Manufacturing Engineering Department is set to meet our ambitions of efficient production and continuous improvements in a demanding and dynamic industry.

Responsibilities

Manage and monitor manufacturing projects securing they are run on time, within budget and using the correct resources.

Coordinate and lead cross-functional teams to reach project targets and milestones.
Monthly reporting of project status
Work closely with equipment and component suppliers together with KA Purchasing Department to secure correct quality, cost, and timing of purchased equipment.
Work according to and contribute with improving the current state of the art methods and tools used in the defined project management process.

Requirements

Education

Minimum bachelor’s degree, within Engineering

Practical experience and knowledge

Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in project management, industrial projects
Knowledge about manufacturing processes such as injection molding, machining and/or assembly
Experience with automotive standards is a benefit, but not a requirement.
Project management tools & methods
Office package (Word, excel, MS projects etc.)

Ability to keep focus and define priorities of personal work tasks.

Languages

High level proficiency in English both written and spoken.
Good knowledge or fluency of Norwegian/ Scandinavian language is a benefit.
