In this position you will be part of the MacGregor Sourcing and Supply Chain Team, and driving the Sourcing function for component categories (Electric, Mechanical and Hydraulic) in our Fishery and Research business line. The Sourcing Manager will work in close cooperation with Central Sorucing, providing cost update, support in Cost reduction initiatives and liason with PM and Sales team for product pricing. The location of the position is Averøy or Bodø. Other locations may be considered. Some travel will be required.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

• Provide sourcing and order fulfilment support to the Business Line
• Drive Cross Discipline Material Cost Reduction initiatives
• Identify and develop suppliers to meet QDCI (Quality, Delivery, Cost, Innovation) requirements and meet the Business Line and MacGregor Sourcing KPI´s
• Optimize supplier portfolio to support Business Line need for cost reduction and operational footprint.

What you’ll need to succeed:

Ideally you have:

Education:

• Commercial and Technical background at Master or Bachelor level or equivalent
• Extensive experience and proven track record may compensate for some missing formal education

Experience:

• > 5 years of international sourcing and Supply Management with a proven track record
• Experience in working with product cost optimization
• Experience with category strategy implementation
• Experience in product transfer within Category Sourcing (Hydraulic, Electric or Mechanical).

Competencies:

• Fluent in One Scandinavian language and English, both spoken and written
• Strong negotiation and relationship building skills with ability to close arguments and agreements.
• Strong presentation and writing skills with ability to communicate clearly and express self well in groups and in one-to-one conversations 
• Knowledge of Supply Chain including logistic and International transportation
• Knowledge of MacGregor products and supplier base preferred 
• Ability to manage multiple projects and relationships while remaining focused on the key deliverables
• Wide supplier network
• Positive and motivating Leadership skills
• Structured and Business mind set.
