The Office for Contemporary Art Norway (OCA) is looking for an art professional, with experience and interest in organising art projects. We can offer a unique opportunity within the vibrant, diverse and highly international arts community.

As project officer for OCA you will assist with production and coordination of professional contemporary art programmes from our office in Oslo.

We seek candidates with experience in production and budget control of art exhibitions, symposiums, workshops, publications, off-site events and public artist talks. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate an interest in, experience in, and an imaginative approach to, developing project co-operations.

The candidate should hold a MA in art history or competence and experience to a similar level, have work experience from a museum or an art exhibition hall, have good knowledge of the Norwegian art scene and fluency in Norwegian and English language.

The tasks will vary from collection of information, making agreements with collaborators, facilitating purchases of material and services, logistical and other practical tasks that are related to the production. The candidate will need to carry out cost control according to the different project budgets.
