Financial Analyst in Bergen

CapeOmega is the largest private owner in the gas infrastructure system on the Norwegian Continental Shelf that supports transmission of gas to European markets. CapeOmega’s portfolio includes a significant share of Gassled, the world’s largest offshore gas transmission system, as well as almost a third of the new Polarled pipeline, and a significant share of the gas plant, Nyhamna.

The company has successfully transformed into a 100% focused infrastructure company with an ambition further invest significantly in renewable energy and emission-reducing infrastructure, including our current development towards a new gas transportation shipping segment.

CapeOmega has been very active in M&A transactions over the past 5 years having completed more than 20 transactions, and in 2019 the company had total revenues of NOK 8 bn and EBITDA of NOK 6,5 bn. CapeOmega AS is backed by the global private markets investment manager Partners Group. Partners Group and has a solid financial position to support its ambitious growth targets.

Financial Analyst in Bergen

You will, amongst other, work with:

       Business Analysis 

       Financial Modelling

       Presentations to management

       Financial derivatives, risk management and real options analysis

       Company screening and analysis

The ideal candidate has / is:

       Analytical skills

       Expert in Excel

       Strong drive

       Works independently as well as in teams

       Structured approach in planning, performing and presenting projects

       Knowledge of dynamic financial modelling

       MSc in Economics and Business Administration (siviløkonom) and/or MSc (høyere avdeling).

The position will report to the SVP Business Development. To be based in Bergen, the candidate may expect some travel. We currently have a team of 6 business- and financial analysts.
