Invest in Bergen is the local Investment Promotion Agency (IPA) in Greater Bergen, supporting international and national companies to settle in the region. The organization is publicly financed. Invest in Bergen has vacant an exciting project-based full time position for two years for a person with excellent communications and English skills.

Invest in Bergen is an autonomous agency of the Department for Innovation and Business Development in Vestland County Council. Vestland County Council will be the formal employer, but all job activities are related to Invest in Bergen 

Main tasks

• Hosting business delegations who visit the Bergen region
• Communications tasks linked to all activities and services
• Writing stories and news for the web and social media (in English)
• Marketing the region and our main businesses
  

Qualifications

A successful candidate will have

• a Bachelor's Degree (or higher) relevant to the position
• experience as communication advisor or from journalism
• good at communicating with business and industry
• interest in and understanding of business and educational institutions in Greater Bergen
• documented written and oral English skills
• experienced in publishing online content (web and social media)

It's a plus if the candidate has

• knowledge about Hubspot is an advantage
