Hydro Extrusions is Hydro’s largest and most global business area. Our Business Area supplies aluminum profiles and profile-based solutions in various applications ranging from windows and furniture to cars and cruise ships. Within Hydro Extrusions, we have business area staff functions based in Oslo, but we also have four core business units; Extrusion Europe, Extrusion North America, Building Systems and Precision Tubing.

Hydro Extrusions Finance team is looking for a skilled and self-going Finance Controller to join us in further developing the department. Among others we are responsible for Hydro Extrusions AB in Sweden, a holding company managing subsidiary shares in many countries over the world. In addition, supporting services to the Extruded Solutions R&D group and other smaller entities in Sweden, constituting rough 50 employees. Hydro Extrusions AB is owned by Hydro Extrusions AS in Norway.

Main tasks and responsibilities
•    Key point of contact with our Shared Service finance teams (GBS) relating to Account Payable (AP), Account Receivable (AR) and accounting
•    Provide background documents for pension payments, AP and AR
•    SAP key users including master data entry
•    Monthly reporting of VAT, including Employees Social Securtiy VAT & TAX, to the Swedish Authorities
•    Contribute to monthly and quarterly closing, e.g. reporting and analyzing financial and operational figures, support business plan process
•    Ad hoc tasks, analysis and improvements initiatives
 
Qualifications
•    Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in Finance or Business Administration
•    At least 3 years’ relevant experience within finance and/or accounting
•    Strong analytical skills
•    Good command of Microsoft Office tools, primarily Excel and PowerPoint
•    Strong communication and collaboration skills
•    Experience from working with big Finance systems, like SAP or HFM is an advantage
•    As the role involves reporting task to Swedish authorities, a Swedish citizenship would be beneficial

•    Ability to multi-task, work under pressure and meet deadlines
•    Proficiency in English, verbal and written
•    Strong ethical awareness and integrity
