We are seeking a senior Application Engineer to join our experienced team in Bergen. The position will be responsible for gathering customer requirements and designing ESS solutions based on Corvus product portfolio. The Applications Engineer is also responsible for supervising the installation and commissioning of battery instalments into the customer site.

Main areas of responsibility

Design system solutions based on customer requirements
Support our integrators with mechanical, electrical, and control system design
Support the risk analysis and class certification of battery installations.
Identify and implement areas for product and process improvement
Provide customer support and technical issue resolutions, both on-site and remotely

Qualifications

Bachelor`s Degree in electrical or automation engineering and/or Technical higher professional degree (Teknisk Fagskole) combined with relevant work experience/ certificate of apprenticeship
5 years+ work experience in equivalent field
Work experience within the battery industry and/or the marine sector will be an advantage
Experience from Power System Integrations
Experienced digital user. Previous experience from Dynamics365 and/or CAD is an advantage
Experience working with globally distributed project teams and customers Worldwide
English and Norwegian fluency, oral and written
