I work with global marketing communication of state of the art, exciting coatings products. My job is mainly to:
- Continuously interact and communicate with stakeholders around the world
- Maintain focus on key deliverables
- Deliver impactful communication and marketing material
- Responsible for ensuring that we have impactful communication based on innovation and marketing plan activities, which is consistent with segment and group guidelines in order to strengthen our market position and achieve profitable growth.
The position is located at our brand new international headquarters in Sandefjord, Norway.
Duties and responsibilities

Ensure that we have impactful communication based on innovation and marketing plan activities, which is consistent with segment and group guidelines in order to strengthen our market position and achieve profitable growth.
A normal week would look something like this:
Week by week optimization on communications activities and effects.
Receive and develop briefs from categories to develop marketing material supporting products and campaigns.
Initiate, grow and implement new and existing internal communication platforms (Sharepoint, Gelato etc) to ensure all stakeholders have updated and relevant material available.
Support and develop network on implementing campaigns and marketing activities.
Plan for and participate in exhibitions and customer related events.
Initiating and monitoring press related activities (distribution of press kits, monitor reach etc).
Consisting of tasks like:
Support Category and Solutions on development of marketing material to maximize impact based on target group and activity objectives.
Monitor and reporting on the effect of external communication activities to ensure that we focus on the relevant and most impactful parts of 360 degrees communication mix - including exhibitions, PR activities, digital communications etc.
Develop target group specific content based on performance of existing content and campaigns.
Interface between Jotun and relevant agencies together with Global Communications Manager.
Develop and evaluate proposals and ensure relevant and consistent internal and external communication are per corporate guidelines, policy, segment directions and strategy.
Maintain and grow internal communications platforms, including media bank, team sites, Gelato, Teach-me-Tuesday etc. to ensure global communications material is available for the regions.
In order for you to be succesfull and enjoy this position, we think you should have:
Experience in communications, marketing, working with external agencies.
International marketing and/or B2B experience is a plus.
Experience with digital tools such as Creative Suite (Adobe), Google analytics, Sharepoint, basic movie editing.
