UI/UX Designer
Promatica is looking to hire an enthusiastic User Interface / Visual Designer to join our vibrant and entrepreneurial team. You will be part of a multi-disciplinary team of product owners and developers committed to developing innovative, easy-to-useworld-class products. This position is based in Kristiansand, Norway.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
" Bring strong creative, conceptual and problem-solving skills to translate conceptual ideas (business needs and user goals) into interaction and design solutions.
" Create and effectively present UX deliverables (wireframes, workflows, prototypes, etc.) to explain and negotiate design solutions to key stakeholders.
" Help define, request and incorporate relevant and recent UX research and data from customer feedback to appropriately inform design decisions.
" Upholding UX guiding principles and style in project execution.
" Create, maintain and share project documentation, UX guidelines and UI specifications.
" Participate and collaborate in concept development and design ideation to help define a creative strategy based on Promaticas brand guidelines.
REQUIRED SKILLS
" Minimum 5-7 years experience in comparable roles.
" Bachelors degree required in design-related discipline: Interaction, Graphic or Interface design. A formal degree can be replaced by natural talent and proven experience.
" Solid skills in graphic design, an excellent eye for typography, clean layout, purposeful color, and a fanatical attention to detail down to the pixel, and a deep appreciation for simple, sleek, usable interfaces.
" You will be responsible for all stages of design on Promaticas products. You must think strategically while executing with great attention to detail.
" Thorough understanding of overall design, usability, standards, architecture and navigation.
" Proficient to expert in: Photoshop and Illustrator.
" Interaction design skills: experience creating wireframes, site/system flows, navigation and information architecture diagrams, etc.
" Design experience in desktop software and interactive web-based interfaces.
" Experience creating or maintaining interface guidelines in a software environment.
" Experience of Blend and XAML is an advantage but not essential.
