A key part of this journey is to implement a culture of continuous improvement as part of our way of working. We are therefore seeking an engaged, independent and hands-on improvement manager to join the next part of our journey.

The role will become part of our global transformation team (Strategy and R&D) and will report to Head of Seawater Innovation & Development, Harald Takle.


Areas of responsibility and key tasks:

  • Be a key contributor to operational improvement projects, including leading selected projects within technology application, and digitalization mainly within Seawater
  • Be a global resource on operational improvement (Lean) and bridge knowledge between operating regions
  • Contribute to the development of a Production System and a culture of continuous improvement based on Lean principles
  • Engage in technology screening and contribute to the development of technology strategies for the company
  • Follow up project portfolio of selected projects


We are looking for candidates with the following qualifications:

  • Higher education (eg engineering, industrial economics and aquaculture)
  • Previous experience with documented results from work with operational improvement, production systems and improvement processes such as LEAN methodology
  • Experience with operational improvement from production-oriented companies, management consultancies, aquaculture or other biological production
  • Experience in managing projects (3-5 year)


Personal characteristics:

  • Structured and analytical, process oriented
  • Strong collaboration skills across cultures and backgrounds
  • Interest and ability to travel and work in various remote locations for periods of time
  • Excellent communication skills in English, both written and oral
  • Good communication skills in Norwegian and Spanish is desirable
