We have a vacant position as Accountant

This is a position within the accounting department which is serving the business units of FMC Kongsberg Subsea AS and FMC Technologies Norway AS.

Responsibilities

• Following up projects at month end closing. Run settlement and review projects.
• Settlement of orders and review of orders.
• Contacting and following up deviations on projects and orders with Project controllers
• Invoicing
• Internal reporting tasks

Main Tasks

• Revenue Recognition on projects
• Reconciling projects against GL-accounts
• Run settlement on orders
• Account reconciliations
• Invoicing
• General accounting tasks
• Internal reporting
• Other ad hoc tasks

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Open minded, communicative, analytical, and self-driven personality
• Good knowledge of Accounting standards and principles
• Good knowledge of Norwegian tax and VAT rules
• Experience with SAP is preferable
• Advanced Excel skills
• Fluently in Norwegian and English language, oral and writing
• 2 years of experience in general accounting department is preferable
