ENGINEERING LEAD

Work Description:

• Plan, quality assure and monitor all study and engineering activities

• Review design and engineering documents that apply across contractual boarders

• Ensure 3rd party verifications where/when necessary and technology qualification program if relevant programs need to be developed

• Identify and adopt correct study, engineering and HSEQ standards as per legislation

• Support the execution and study areas with technical expertise and overall concept evaluations

• Implement and maintain procedures and systems for TQ, deviations etc timely

• Ensure identification and implementation of synergy effects between Goliat X and Balder Grane Electrification project

• Maximize the value and the technical concept and HSE for the project and involved licences 

Qualification Requirements:

• MSC, BSC or equivalent

• Miniumum 10 years of experience in the Upstream business

• Supervisory experience in multi discipline projects or organization units and preferable in early phase project development

• Strong technical and commercial business understanding

• In depth knowledge of Norwegian regulations for the petroleum industry

• General strong managerial competencies; leadership skills, managing people/teams, analytical skills and strategic planning

• Good interpersonal and motivating skills to reach goals through others

• Strong safety and business drive, setting challenging targets for the team and the individuals

• Provide motivational support, empower and develop others

• Analythical, forward and strategic thinking, structured and tidy

• Broad business experience
