HSE Coordinator - temporary position for 1 year

We are a manufacturer with a strong focus on Health Safety and Environment and are now creating a new position as HSE coordinator.

We have an HSE system in place and look forward increasing our standards and results.

Together with the HSE manager and in collaboration with the Engineering manager, the position will collaborate with all the plant departments to increase the safety standards at our plant and reduce our environmental impact.

Main task

• Be a main point of contact regarding HSE at the plant
• Help identify and implement industry best practices
• Plan and carry out training at the various levels in the factory
• Keep track of our internal targets (Safety and Environmental KPIs)
• Support during the implementation of relevant HSE actions
• Build, maintain and follow up a systematic process and workflow for HSE
• Follow up and update our routines and processes in line with current laws and regulations (incl. ISO 9001, ISO 14001)

Education, qualifications and characteristics

• Technician or Engineer in the subject area (newly certified applicants welcome!)
• Good English skills orally, and intermediate in writing
• Experience from a similar position within the industry (desired)
• Traits: Independent, collaborative mindset and systematic
• Good MS Office skills (excel, word and ppt)

This position is immediately available and of 12 months duration.
