Control System Software Engineer

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Design and implementation of control system software for our Subsea Compression

and Boosting Systems, Swivel Stacks and other Automated Systems

· Participate in and support factory acceptance testing and system integration testing

· Participate in definition, implementation and verification of control system for closed

loop controls, sequences, interlocks and safeguarding.

· Interaction with other technical disciplines

· Participate in functional testing and interface testing at key suppliers’ location

· Dedication to HSE

· Some travelling in Norway and abroad

Education & Experience

· MSc or BSc in automation or cybernetics engineering

· Industry experience or knowledge of Rockwell software and Allen Bradley PLCs

preferred

· Fresh graduates with good academic records will be considered

Job knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

· Good knowledge of PLC / PC-Server based control systems

· High working capacity

· Ability to work both independently and in multidiscipline teams

· Responsible and result oriented.

· Practical and solution minded with good interpersonal and communication skills

· Fluent in English; orally and written

· Work in a team of highly qualified software automation engineers

· Responsible for implementation of control system software for our products and

systems
