Job summary:

The main task for an Interwell Electronics Design Engineer is to participate in projects that provide world class downhole electronic products by designing and developing electronics. As an important asset in a multi-disciplined environment, you will contribute to create innovative products in an exciting global company. As an Electronics Design Engineer, you are expected to be driven, take initiative and have an eye for details.

Interwell is one of the major suppliers of high-end intervention products. A few examples of our electronic downhole products are a market leading barrier verification tool, electronics setting tools, and a new intelligent barrier valve meeting the market's need for an "on demand" barrier.

Main Activities & Responsibilities: 

• Participate in development projects related to downhole electronic products
• High temperature analogue electronics development of schematics, simulations, PCB layout and system level design
• Assembly, testing, qualification and documentation of prototypes in mechanical/electronic workshop
• Follow-up and maintenance of existing electronic products
• Liaise with 3rd party suppliers with regards to purchase, operation and development projects
• Support operational activities
• Develop systems for testing, verification and qualification of equipment and products
• Prepare assembly procedures and QA documents related to electronic products
• Monitor availability of critical electronic components and estimating future demand
• Promote a culture of continuous improvement and personal commitment to Interwell policies

 Team Activities: 

• Work in a design team managing both electronics-, software- and mechanical integration 
• Team up with the workshop, bringing new products into production 
• Meetings with suppliers and 3rd parties 
• Attend internal and external QA / HSE meetings 
• Meetings with Sales & Support 

 Requirements:

• BSc Electronics
• Relevant experience 
• Structured 
• Take initiative  
• Fluent English - oral and written
