Service electrician of ferry chargers needed !!!

We are looking for experienced field electricians with industrial background in Ålesund/ Molde.   

Main focus will be on electrical tasks, but the ability to perform basic mechanical work will also be required for the replacement of wear and spare parts. You need to possess a high level of electrical skills, but also have knowledge about local health and safety rules as your work should be performed in a responsible and professional way. Position requires travelling to sites as needed to provide service, perform maintenance, troubleshoot  and repair issues on ferry chargers. Construction site documentation and creation of detailed electronic service reports will be in English..

Duties/Electrical works:

•  Planned preventative maintenance on electro mechanical systems
•  Reactive repairs to and where necessary replacement of parts
•  Troubleshooting on electrical and electro-mechanical systems
•  Wiring changes / retrofits
•  Repairs in electrical control cabinets
•  Input to continuous improvement of the product

Duties/Mechanical work:

•  General mechanical repair work e.g. replacement of spare- and wear parts

Desired skills:

- PLC/control electronics experience including:

 experience with different PLC Software

 troubleshooting

 uploading and testing software updates

 parameter changes

 can be supported via remote by STT engineers

- Experience in working within a High Voltage setting; 

- Experience using lifting equipment;

- Working at height (including the use of using MEWPs);

Language skills required:

 Highly proficient in spoken and written English
