Sales Support Engineer

Kempower Oy designs, manufactures and commercializes charging solutions and services for electric vehicles and machines operating in the most demanding conditions. Their charging solutions are designed and manufactured in Lahti, Finland. They are owned by Kemppi Group and together with Kemppi Oy they have 70 years of experience in perfecting power sources. In order to continue their rapid international growth we are now looking for:
Sales Support Engineer to join the team in Norway. As a Sales Support Engineer you will analyze, plan, develop and suggest charging solutions by using information from customers and sales. You will provide cost calculations and delivery time estimations for sales based on inputs from the engineering team. You will also act as project manager and follow-up and secure that the solutions meet customer expectations technically and on timely manner. You are first point of contact for customer in debugging and troubleshooting technical issues. Your working style is fast, detailed, clear and customer oriented.
Arbeidsoppgaver
- Define charging solution proposals for the sales team including product selections, cost calculations and delivery time estimations
- Maximize the amount and quality of information available when executing the customer projects
- Attend sales handover meetings and provide information to assist the engineering and production teams
- For some key projects manage delivery of the solution up to customer site delivery, also included commissioning tasks
- For some key projects support Purchasing Manager to source correct components
- Visit, inform and advise colleagues, customers and third parties. Representing the company as a technical consultant, trainer and demonstrate technical possibilities of products, systems and services
- Troubleshooting and solving technical problems remotely and by visiting customers
- Ensure proper escalation of issues and follow up
Ønskede kvalifikasjoner
- > 3 years working experience at least from one of the following areas: Mechanical, electrical, electronics, application or software engineering, product development, product management or project management
- Experience in automotive, EV or EV charging industries are remarkable merits
- Curiosity to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of EV charging solutions
- A customer-oriented and flexible mindset, ability to understand customer needs and processes
- Ability to multi-task and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Fluency in one of the Scandinavian languages (able to read and understand all 3) and English. Other languages are considered as a merit
- Willingness to, in periods, travel much in the Scandinavian and North European countries
- And most important, a positive person able to find good solutions for all involved even if working conditions do not meet your minimal requirements
