Division IT Manager

Skretting has a vacancy for the position as a Division IT Manager. The successful applicant will report to the IT Director and be part of the Division IT team, based at Skretting’s headquarters in Stavanger, Norway. 

The key functions of this role include the coordination and facilitation of strong collaborations between Skretting’s Operating Companies (OpCos) around the world, and to provide an essential link between those OpCos and parent company Nutreco’s headquarters in the Netherlands.  

The position will suit someone able to demonstrate strong stakeholder management skills, and who is also able to contribute to important operational functions when required. The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, analytical and a team player. 

Tasks and responsibilities include (but will not be limited to): 

• Manage a portfolio of change management 
• Support Skretting’s regional Business IT Managers and their respective OpCos 
• Project management for strategic tasks and endeavours 
• Mentorship of other IT staff members, supporting their project management skills development 
• Guide and consult with OpCos on IT initiatives 
• Work in close conjuncture with the global IT Service Delivery Management to ensure high quality IT service delivery 
• Provide a binding link between business and IT within Skretting 
• Provide a binding link and escalation point between Skretting and Corporate IT 
• Work closely with the IT Process, Risk and Compliance department (IT PRC) to ensure Skretting Division and OpCos function within set guidelines 
• Support global digital initiatives 
• Global OLA reviews between Skretting and Corporate IT 
• Follow up project management and SLA metrics from an OpCo level 

What you’ll need to succeed 

• In order to ensure your success in this role, ideally you will possess the following:
• Degree in IT / Computer Science or long relevant work experience 
• A minimum five years of relevant work experience 
• Professional Project Management certification (e.g. Prince, PMP) is preferred 
• Excellent communication skills in English (both verbal and written) 
• Knowledge about machine learning, artificial intelligence and big data will be advantageous 
• A willingness to travel internationally 
• Experience of Matrix organisations 
• ITIL Certification preferred
