We are looking for an?eMobility Business Development Manager?to join our sales organization in order to drive and accelerate our growth within e-mobility charging infrastructure. 
 

Your mission 
 
The e-Mobility market is expanding at a rapid pace. Sales of electric cars topped 2.1 million globally in 2019, surpassing 2018 – already a record year – to boost the stock to 7.2 million electric cars. As we scale the electrification of our mobility in order to fight the climate change, Schneider Electric develops and commercializes a whole range of e-Mobility charging infrastructure solutions. 
 
In order to continue our rapid growth in this emerging new application, we are currently recruiting an eMobility Business Development Manager primarily based in Oslo. 
 
The e-mobility BD is critical role as you will be working closely with clients to strategically design e-mobility charging infrastructure deployment plans as well as be the regional SPOC to support the various Schneider Electric countries in accelerating their local deployment in serving this growing application.  
 

Your Responsibilities 

 

  • Identify direct and indirect prospective customers for business opportunities within eMobility charging infrastructure, and generate business proactively through building solid relationships with prospective clients, gaining detailed understanding of their needs, pain points and strategic direction 

  • Enable SE country organizations to deploy eMobility, contribute to sales plans and go-to-market strategy, and be the SPOC for the region  

  • Lead trainings, content/sales messaging, processes and tools to support the sales force 

  • Work with marketing management to ensure promotional activity is carried out to enhance the company image and increase brand on e-mobility awareness

Knowledge
 
 

  • Experience in managing sales cycles, tenders and tailoring tenders to provide unique solutions to suit customer requirements 

  • The ability to develop a bid strategy and bring it to life increasing conversation hit rate 

  • Strong strategic, conceptual, and analytical thinking 

  • Strong communication skills, both towards technical and non-technical people at all levels 

  • Understanding and adaptability to the evolving ecosystem value chain of the eMobility application 
     


Required Qualifications 
 
 

  • Degree at Bachelor’s level or above in business administration, Engineering and/or Marketing 

  • Minimum 5 years in relevant role, preferably from an international company 

  • Team player and a leader, who can work effectively with customers and colleagues at all levels. 

  • Independent and self-driven and work with minimum guidance. 

  • This position will be based in Oslo and regional travel around assigned geographical zone may occur as part of the role (<50%).
