Ecommerce Manager

Are you the person that can help us double our e-commerce sales in 2024?

Your mission will be to optimise and develop our existing online store to ensure the best customer experience possible. You must be highly analytical and motivated by finding incremental improvements within e-commerce. You will be an important part of a motivated entrepreneurial team on a rapidly growing business with high international ambitions and a proven track record. 

What will you do: 

• Your day-to-day responsibilities will include running Varsity’s e-commerce and ensuring a seamless customer experience from start to finish.
• Constantly monitoring and analysing our online sales in a structured way to identify areas of improvement and to implement those changes.
• Develop monthly budgets and forecasts.
• Work with our developers to implement new site improvements and features.
• Support our customers in all matters relating to their orders. Contributing to Varsity Headwear’s overall customer service is an important part of this role. 
• Help us offer a world class online shopping experience.
• Design and refine the user experience.

What are we looking for in candidates:

• A genuine interest for e-commerce and delivering a best-in-class customer journey.
• Experience working in Magento 2 (or similar Ecom platforms) and Google Analytics. 
• Experience in e-commerce within the consumer goods or fashion and apparel industry.
• Fluent in English
• Proficiency in Norwegian is useful, but not mandatory..
• Experience with Sketch, VWO, Referral schemes, Klavyio, HTML coding, Javascript and similar is an advantage. 
• A good eye for user interfaces and ecommerce design, with practical abilities to explore ideas visually.

Mandatory: 

• Minimum 3 years relevant higher education.
• Minimum 2 year relevant work experience .
