IT Engineer - SharePoint Administrator

Today KONGSBERG IT have more than 250 employees, working on IT solutions and services in KONGSBERGs more than 120 locations all over the world.

The Collaboration Team is part of the Kongsberg IT - Business Solutions Department. Main responsibility of Collaboration Team is to provide collaboration tools and solutions to support the business needs. The portfolio is including Microsoft SharePoint and the increasing usage of the Microsoft 365 portfolio.

The Collaboration team is expanding due to increasing demands, and we are looking for a SharePoint Server administrator.

The SharePoint Administration role will include maintenance, monitoring and operational tasks as well as further development of SharePoint environment on premises, but also SharePoint Online Services.

We are looking for you to be a part of our Collaboration team in Norway.

Key accountabilities:
Administration, monitoring and maintenance of MS SharePoint Server environments included SQL Servers
Participate in global SharePoint team meetings and activities
Create and maintain system and operational documentation
3. level support
Participate in projects and collaborate with colleagues in other regions

Qualification and experience:

• Bachelors degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field. Relevant experience can compensate.
• 3-5 years of SharePoint administration experience
• Experience with SharePoint Server maintenance and operational tasks, like patching and security updates
• Experience with SQL Server
• Knowledge of Networking infrastructure services
• Knowledge and experience with one or more of the following products/technologies in addition to is wanted, but not required:
• • Web services
  • Application monitoring
  • PowerShell
  • Cloud computing services
  • SharePoint Hybrid
  • Experience with SharePoint Migration Tools
• Knowledge of ITIL framework

The position requires Norwegian security clearance
