TOMRA Collection Solutions is expecting significant growth in the time to come and are looking for Data & Analytics lead that will help on taking us further on our journey towards becoming even more data driven. TOMRA started it’s IoT journey in the 1990s and ~80.000 connected vending machines creates a lot of data that can be utilized.  

We are moving towards Industry 4.0 and predictive maintenance and need someone that can take a lead on how to merge our structured and unstructured data to create even more value both internally and externally.  

We are speeding up our journey towards advanced analytics 

The team is small and has the freedom to choose the right technology for the tasks at hand. All developers have responsibility for the product lifecycle from design and implementation to operations. We strive to have a high degree of automation and continuous delivery. 

As a leader you will be responsible in designing and building new services within data processing, reporting and advanced analytics. You will be responsible for defining, optimizing and developing our distributed data processing stack in the cloud. The responsibility includes real-time data ingestion and data ingestion for reporting and analysis. 

Data & Analytics Lead reports to Head of Software.

Role and responsibilities: 

  • Co-responsible of creating and implementing TOMRAs roadmap for use of data & analytics  
  • Ensure that data & analytics team and solutions are aligned with overall expectations and strategies 
  • Key driver to shape the future datadriven TOMRA  
  • Track resolution and progress vs. targets and milestones 
  • Be a thought leader and ambassador internally and externally for smart use of data 
  • Secure internal communication, coordination and relations with stakeholders  
  • Contribute to establish and improve operating principles and ground rules for implementation, support and development  
  • Secure policies and procedures for change management, process, and functions 
  • Develop and improve internal processes for utilizing data 
  • Keep updated of new technology and features within data & analytics 

Qualifications: 

  • Strategic and business oriented with a growth mindset 
  • Extensive experience in data & analytics domain 
  • Higher degree in business- or technology related subjects 
  • A minimum of three years’ experience from a similar role 
  • Ability to adapt and respond to change, and manage pressure and adversity 
  • You are service minded, have great communication skills and proven teamwork skills 
  • Ability to handle stress  
  • Excellent communication skills in Norwegian and English 
  • Business focus with excellent technical problem-solving, troubleshooting, and follow-up skills 
  • Analytical skills & project management skills
