To our research organization in Trondheim we are now seeking three research scientists. One within fish health and two within nutrition. BioMar organizes its research in global teams in order to be both world-wide and relevant for our customers, and to draw on the best possible resources we can from within our own organization.
FISH NUTRITION
Duties and responsibility
- Research in fish and shrimp nutrition
- Estimation of nutrient requirements
- Development of aquatic feed products and feed concepts
- Leading national and international R&D projects
- Working in a global team of researchers
- Collaborating closely with technical teams in the local enterprises worldwide
The candidate
- PhD / M.Sc. in fish physiology, nutrition, or biotechnology in connection to aquatic species
- Research experience within nutrition
- Competence within experimental design and statistics
- Experience in project management
- Network within industry and/or research
- Skilled in oral and written English language and preferably Norwegian.
FISH HEALTH
Duties and responsibility
- Research in aquatic species health and nutrition
- Development of aquatic species feed products and feed concepts
- Lead national and international R&D projects from idea to product
- To support our colleagues across department and countries
The candidate
- Veterinarian or Fish Health biologist, preferable with a PhD degree within relevant subjects related to health in aquatic species
- Research experience from an established research environment, with good competence on relevant analytical and statistical methods
- Experience in project management
- Network within industry and / or research
- Skilled in oral and written English language and preferable Norwegian
