In the role as Lead Compliance Officer at Aker BP you will be responsible for ensuring that the company has an effective compliance program to prevent breaches of corruption law and ensure compliance with the company’s Code of Conduct; and to safeguard that the company and its board receive accurate reporting regarding the status of the company’s current compliance within defined risk areas.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
- Develop and implement risk based annual compliance plans
- Develop and facilitate the implementation of internal controls which reduces integrity risk for the company
- Ensure that the company’s anti-corruption compliance program is improved and developed to mitigate relevant risks and according to internal and external expectations
- Assess, monitor and report on Aker BPs integrity risks
- Advice and guide the organization on business ethics and compliance matters
- Handle and follow-up reported whistleblowing cases
- Perform internal investigations where necessary
Qualifications
- 8+ years of relevant experience from a compliance function
- Relevant higher education at master’s level
- Experience with implementation of compliance programs
- Experience with working systematically with a broad range of compliance topics, including integrity risk management
- Extensive knowledge about key anti-corruption and human rights laws and regulations, and preferably also sanctions and export control regulations
- Knowledge and experience with handling integrity risks in supply chains
- Experience with handling whistleblowing reports and investigations
- Excellent written and oral communication skills in Norwegian and English

You will report operationally to the CEO, be a part of a dynamic and multiskilled work environment and work closely with several of Aker BP’s business units and support functions.
Work location: Stavanger, Oslo or Trondheim depending on candidate preference.
