We are entering a digital-first world, where customers expect to be served in their digital channel of choice, often in real time, throughout their Laerdal journey. In addition, an important part of the business strategy is using digital technologies to change business models and provide new revenue and value-producing opportunities.

To meet these expectations and business needs, Laerdal Medical is developing digital services to help customers maximize the value of their Laerdal products. Two key digital service areas are:

• Digital Educational Services – These are online services to help customers learn how to efficiently and effectively use our products.
• Digital Content Services – These are online libraries of digital clinical learning content to be used with the Laerdal simulators or as standalone e-learning.

As a Product Manager of Digital Education & Content Services, you will have the primary ownership of the customer facing applications providing these services, taking care of business needs, working with stakeholders and our external network of partners globally, to define what to prioritize, in which order, and to ensure it is implemented.

As a Product Manager, you will be accountable for:

• Define and drive product vision, strategy, development and value proposition
• Interact proactively with the broader organizations to understand business needs and opportunities
• Establish and maintain the roadmap for the digital services
• Manage project intake and governance processes to implement the roadmap
• Clarify what to solve where in the suite of digital services involved – prepare recommendations on make or buy decisions
• Ensure that the platform’s backlog is prioritized, visible, transparent, and clear to all stakeholders
• Measure how are the digital services are adopted by users, by utilizing both quantitative and qualitative metrics
• Interface with technical delivery teams

We are searching for a candidate with a Bachelor or Master degree and a minimum 5 years of relevant experience.

You have:

• Experience with web-based applications and digital products & services.
• Product management competence
• Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written
• Ability to successfully operate across all functions and build a network in the organization
• Organized, systematic and fluent in English
• Good technical understanding, sound business background, oversight and ability to shape pricing and market strategies
• The freedom to travel

The position reports to Martin Hetland, Director – Project and Application Management.

The job is based in Stavanger, Norway.
