On behalf of one of our clients, we are looking for a Senior Piping and Layout Engineer

Job Description:

• Follow up of the specification interpretation, design solutions, documentation, of all equipment layout, pipe routing and details such as pipe supporting. 
• Ensuring that the FEED and ECI contract processes, milestones and requirements are fulfilled by contractor in the areas you have responsibility 
• Ensuring a Brage materials handling plan is developed or updated for normal operation and maintenance in areas affected by the project. 
• Quality checking project documentation used for fabrication or delivered as LCI 
• Ensuring the working environment requirements for accessibility from the regulations and platform normal practice are incorporated into the design 
• Ensuring that the fabrication details are installation friendly and helps to minimise offshore work 
• Ensuring the overall operational functionality and P&ID (systems engineering) notes and requirements are translated into the physical layout and routing.  
• Providing company input to a valve selection philosophy and ensure each valve has a define functionality backed by a functional requirement or specification   
• Support and contribute within: Resolving TQs and deviations 
• Ensuring that the FEED and EPCI contract processes, milestones and requirements are fulfilled 
• Participation in contractor periodic status- and work meetings, specifically layout reviews 
• Provide input into the sequence of construction and commissioning that best serves the project 
• Support and contribute within:

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree within a relevant engineering subject
• Minimum of 10 years’ experience within the oil and gas industry, and extensive experience from offshore Brownfield projects
• Experience with the details, interfaces with other disciplines and overall layout aims in an offshore modification project
• Experience from the complete spectrum from FEED engineering, detailed engineering, interface with procurement and fabrication to mechanical completion compliance is highly desirable. 
• Highly familiar with the use of NORSOK standards
• That you are certified for offshore travel/work on the Norwegian shelf
• Fluency in English, oral and written
• Fluency in Norwegian advantageous
