EI&T / ATEX ENGINEER / INSPECTOR FOR TURNTABLE FABRICATION

Job Description:

• Support Site Representative at Turntable Fabricaton Site Drydocks World
• Act in accordance with Client values and demonstrating leadership in matters of HSEQ
• Follow up EI&T discipline material receipt, handling, preservation, installation to specification etc including verification of ATEX compliance
• Ensure Implementation of QA/QC routines and procedures for the Construction/Completion phase and follow up by site inspections and report all non-compliance’s
• Verify safe fabrication of the turntable to project specifications with minimum carry-over
• Verify and monitor project Scope of work in line with agreed Inspection Test Plan
• Follow up turntable installation including the execution of any carry-over work
• Ensure that site progress and the MC documentation during the installation period and sign out MC certificates and Punch items is done correctly in PIMS CMS.
• Regular updating and information sharing to Client project team through Construction Manager and Contract holder.

Qualification Requirements:

• Minimum high school diploma or equivalent.
• Education or training in a construction technology related field is preferred.
• 10 years+ working experience as a professional in oil & gas business
• Competent skills and experience in planning and execution within ATEX and EI&T project requirements and Mechanical Completion, Construction, Preservation, Commissioning and Handover Processes
• Able to show leadership in site safety practices and behaviors.
• Track record of fabrication site experience combined with an understanding of fabrication procedures and quality systems
• Extensive knowledge and competence within own discipline and demonstrate thorough understanding for own business area
• Have a proactive mind set and work style which can influence others
• Well-developed interpersonal skills, and able to interface effectively both company and contractors
• Excellent communication skills, both orally and written English (Norwegian is an advantage)
• Proactively seeking advice from others and share own experiences with the project organisation
• Demonstrate willingness and ability to lead through others
