Environment Advisor

Tasks and responsibilities:

• Be the environmental focal point of contact between the line organisation and the Drilling Department and the Field Development and Projects Department
• Establish environmental aspects register (EAR), and manage continuous follow up of identified significant environmental aspects aligned with ISO14001
• Advise and guide regarding regulatory regime, standards, industry best practices and BAT
• Prepare discharge permit applications and arrange for oil spill modelling and oil spill emergency preparedness analysis
• Quality assurance of compliance with discharge permit limits and reporting of environmental performance according to regulatory limit values and environmental performance indicators (EPI)
• Establish and implement environmental requirements in tenders, contracts and in relevant governing documents which is in compliance with regulatory requirements and NORSOK S-003
• Support offshore organisations with day to day support ion environmental issues
• Provide general advise in energy management, waste management and chemical management
• Deliver key environment documents, assessments and studies such as ERA, EIA, BAT and BEP assessments, seabed surveys and applications as needed
• Responsible for collecting, quality control and reporting of environmental data in the environmental accounting system (NEMS Accounter)
• Responsible for executing

Qualifications and experience: 

• MSc or equivalent
• 6-7 years relevant experience
