About the role
In its global 2018-2021 strategy, NRC set the ambition to become a leader in the use of data and technology to deliver better. A fundamental component of our Digital Transformation ambition is the improvement of its support processes delivery via the use of technology and enterprise-wide solutions, such as Enterprise Resources Planning (ERP). Towards this, we have recently adopted a new Human Capital Management(HCM) system we are calling the NRC People. To have effective operation, user support and development of the NRC People, an Operating Framework (OF) will be implemented. As part of the OF, we will have a Global HR Help Desk function that will offer service support for the organisation.
A successful Global HR Help Desk Coordinator will deliver comprehensive, high-quality support of NRC's HCM system. On this fast-paced team, the role holder will need to exemplify outstanding customer service skills, troubleshooting skills and a passion for helping others.
Duties and responsibilities
The Global HR Helpdesk Coordinator is the expert operator of NRC People. S/he will contribute to the successful operations and development of NRC's HCM system as specified below.
- Ensure that the HR first line support gets timely and effective service support and follow-up. This includes running the HR Help Desk Line 2 HR service requests;
- Analyse, diagnose and resolve complex technical Line 2 support issues related to NRC People, or formulate and reroute issues as needed to Line 3;
- Contribute to training the NRC People Regional & Country Focal Points (L1) in NRC People support;
- Facilitate adoption of NRC People Operations at regional level in cooperation with Process Owners and Focal Points;
- Document solutions to common issues/problems available in Oracle Guided Learning;
- Coordinate the planning, testing and implementing Oracle HCM Cloud quarterly updates in cooperation with stakeholders, and communicate system changes to concerned staff;
- Implement changes to the Enterprise Structure in NRC People in cooperation with relevant stakeholders;
- Contribute to the overall strategic planning, development, and maintenance of NRC People;
- Drive process improvement initiatives on recurring support needs;
- Build, modify and maintain basic reports and dashboards in NRC People using Oracle BI;
Qualifications
- Documented relevant work experience with HR processes with cloud solutions (SAAS)
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Aptitude for continuous improvement of HR systems, service-delivery and working environment
- Team player
- Self-motivated
- Able to cope with a fast-paced environment
