HSE Engineer

We wish to strengthen our HSE team, are you our new HSE Engineer?

We are now looking for an experienced HSE Engineer that will strengthen our local HSE team, and help us improve our HSE performance even further.

As Project HSE Engineer
You will be driving the HSE work within our Subsea Services projects. Our HSE Engineers are an integrated part of the project teams, supporting the Project Managers, and you will be expected to proactively handle HSE tasks related to our onshore and offshore operations.
As part of our local HSE team you will be involved in a wide range of HSE tasks. The HSE Engineers work directly with our customers, and collaborate closely with our global HSE organization.

To succeed in this challenging role you must have previous experience from HSE work, and a thorough understanding of HSE in offshore operations.

Your efforts should always be focused on continuously improving our HSE performance, and thereby making sure all our employees return safely home from work.

You are meant for this job if you

• Have a relevant HSE related education, and minimum 3 years of relevant experience within HSE in the offshore industry. Relevant experience can compensate for lack of formal education.
• Are capable of leading HSE inspections, training and incident investigations.
• Have good knowledge of the relevant HSE standards.
• Comfortable working with and have god knowledge of relevant standards as ISO 14001and 45001.
• Have god knowledge of waste management and the application of all Norwegian laws and rule regarding this subject, including reporting of the environmental matter to Authorities.
• Have good knowledge of coordination of the chemical analysis.
• Are comfortable with using a wide range of IT systems and tools like SAP, Synergi and Office 365.
• Have the ability to work independently, but also to be a team player in an integrated project team.
• Are comfortable with high volume workload in a rapidly changing environment and able to manage multiple priorities
• Communicate well in Norwegian and English.
