Senior System Architect, R&D System Solutions

On behalf of Eltek we are searching for a Senior System Architect, R&D System Solutions
The senior system architect is a key resource in Eltek R&D, holding a broad product and technology knowledge, and is expected to coordinate functionality for all system building blocks to secure that the integrated system solutions are reliable, competitive and meet customer/market requirements.

Main tasks and responsibilities
• Support the System Solutions engineering team with expertise and experience
• Participate in and/or lead design reviews
• Ensure proper functionality in new system concepts, by in-depth testing and evaluation, and by providing necessary feedback to the other R&D pillars on the test results
• Provide feedback and input to Product Management on requirement specifications for all building blocks (module, controller, system)
• Support Eltek offices and customers in troubleshooting and diagnostics of complex systems

Required professional and technical skills
• Master of Science Electrical Engineering
• Or Bachelor of Science Electrical Engineering with 5 years relevant experience
• Or Technician with 10 years relevant experience
• Experience with power conversion and back-up systems, including converter and control system behavior and interaction is preferred.
• Experience with practical lab work, ability to set up, perform tests and evaluate product performance against specification.
• Knowledge and understanding of international standards for CE and UL marking of power conversion products.
• Understanding of market requirements, both in ICT and industrial segments.
• Experience within electrical installation, automation or process industry
• Fluent in English and Norwegian, verbal and written
