The Real Estate and Procurement Analyst is responsible for supporting the financial analysis needs, accounting and budgeting, and support in REMP Projects for the Regional Manager and for Real Estate and Procurement – REMP Nordics. Main responsibilities will include developing customized real estate financial analyses that include budgeting and budget reporting, cost models and other cost analyses as assigned, procurement savings calculations, procurement analysis, accounting analysis against spend and potential savings, financial investigations to spend profiling across all Business Units (BA’s), and project support.

This is a key support position for the Regional Manager, and the REMP Financial Analyst will also be involved directly with internal company clients as well as external suppliers.

The successful candidate must be able to demonstrate core competencies in the following areas:

Market, Economic and Financial Analysis

  • Responsible for the analytical functions of the Real Estate and Procurement team (including integrating a higher level of analysis, using Excel, Oracle Finance, iProcure, etc.),
  • Invoicing, cost distribution and accounting,
  • Budgeting and budget management/reporting,
  • Conduct analysis of leased and owned property portfolios, including input of information and development of strategic recommendations based on portfolio information,
  • Project Management
  • Responsible for pulling demographic and generating saturation/demand reports,
  • Assimilate provided costs and revenue into cash flow models,
  • Develop pricing models, including revenue, P&L, and ROI assumptions,
  • Serve as point person for corporate clients(s) related to financial analysis,
  • Assist with the implementation of systems, controls, policies and procedures related to financial analysis to support growth and expansion of the REMP Nordics team,
  • Maintains positive relationships with team and clients to ensure high level of satisfaction,
  • Support and carry out activities related to the company core values of Service Excellence and Expertise,
  • Responsible for addressing issues of data quality and maintaining of a policy of data security both within and outside the office,
  • Responsible for understanding all company tools related to the REMP function financial reporting structure.

Data Interpretation, Presentation and Marketing

  • Research data needed for various assignments,
  • Responsible for the aggregation, analysis, interpretation, presentation and reporting of market research data through internal and outside sources,
  • Develop discounted cash flow, P&L, Yield and ROI models,
  • Participate in presentations and preparation of responses to RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs to potential clients,
  • Produce comprehensive broker opinions of value including layout and design,
  • Reviews and abstracts data from leases, third parties, etc.,
  • Responsible for pulling demographic and generating saturation/demand reports,
  • Serve as point person for corporate clients(s) related to financial analysis.

The successful candidate will possess the following required degrees and competencies:

  • Master/Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, MBA preferred,
  • Previous experience with financial analysis and modelling within Real Estate and/or Procurement,
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office; particularly Excel, Publisher and PowerPoint. Oracle Finance, iProcure,
  • Strong analytical understanding, writing and communication skills,
  • Superior skills in financial modelling, analyses, accounting and presentation,
  • Strong ability to work independently,
  • Proven ability to deliver results and self - driven,
  • Ability to produce results with an autonomous environment, within company guidelines and have the flexibility to identify and respond to changes in priorities,
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills,
  • Highly developed stakeholder management skills,
  • Belief and demonstration of company core values of Service Excellence and, Expertise,
  • Fluent in English,
  • Strong proficiency in Norwegian / Scandinavian languages,
  • Ability to make competent use of work-related equipment and materials,
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others,
  • Ability to work with other team members as well as individually,
  • Cooperative, patient, calm under pressure,
  • Ability to provide excellent customer service to all clients (customers, advisors and employees),
