Lean Project Manager

Job Description

We are looking for a Lean Project Manager that can help us streamline our projects and manage our growing team of developers. You will be working alongside the management team, product owners and developers bringing new products and features to live, as well as ensure progress in internal projects and make sure routine tasks are done in time. 

The Lean Project Manager should actively contribute and improve to the culture within the team and team satisfaction. You will help the team as a whole and individuals work more efficiently and lean to gain maximum output of each and every project. All while keeping the satisfaction and happiness of the entire project team as high as possible. Lastly, you will also be responsible for reporting to Product Owners and Management.

We're now starting a major project, shifting to an "API First" way of developing new systems, features and functions. This means a major shift in technical architecture and results in us rebuilding major parts of our product. The goal is to make our product more lean, more easily adaptable for professional clients that demand a more flexible and programmable workflow, as well as making it easier for our own developers to create new features. You will play a role in this transition and the related projects.

As our first full time Project Manager, you will have a large impact on how Servebolt does Project Management. You will play an essential role in shaping everything related to project management in the future of the company.

We are looking for someone in our Oslo office and/or Drammen office. You will visit both offices frequently.

As Lean Project Manager you will:

• Plan and manage development sprints
• Keep track of, and organize work related to bugs and issues within our platform
• Ensure the best outcome of projects with skill based resource planning
• Proactively work to increase project team satisfaction and happiness
• Coordinate between the management team and the various project teams.
• Help the project teams with time management and planning
• Actively work to motivate both the project teams as a whole and individually
• Manage and analyze project risks
• Monitor and report on project progress

Requirements

Who you are

We value a highly independent but collaborative mindset. We believe you have a wide set of soft skills and that you are good at interacting with all types of people. In addition to understanding how to streamline working with different types of individuals, we believe you are also good with numbers and have analytical skills. You value following a process, but you also know when to deviate from a set process to maximize the outcome. We also believe you have strong interest in tech, and have worked either as a developer or project manager in software development.

Experience

We believe you have the following experience:

• 2-5 years experience with modern and project methodologies like Scrum and Kanban
• 2-5 years experience with project management in software development
• Experience with Jira and the Atlassian Software Suite
• Fully fluent in English, bonus points if you speak additional languages
• Enough technical knowledge to understand the architecture behind a technical product
