The Financial Analyst will be part of the Investment Analysis team and report to the head of Investment Analysis. The position is located at Aker Solutions’ HQ in Fornebu, Oslo.

The Role

As our new Financial Analyst, you will participate in:

• The development and management of business cases and financial tools for offshore wind projects
• Financial modelling, valuation analysis and review of due diligence material for new investment opportunities
• Performing market analysis of offshore wind and other energy markets
• Contributing and supporting the company’s business development and transaction activities
• Preparing and presenting decision material for Aker Offshore Wind Executives and Board of Directors

Who are you?

You have:

• A Bachelor’s / Master’s degree in finance, economics, engineering or similar, and you are a top academic performer
• 1-2 years of relevant work experience from similar positions in a large corporate organization e.g. Big Four or similar consultancy, or financial institution
• Excellent modelling skills and attention to detail
• Super-user Excel and PowerPoint skills. Programming experience in VBA, Python or other programming languages is considered an advantage
• A strong interest in the offshore wind industry
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communications skills and the ability to present and communicate complex matters
• The confidence to inspire internal and external stakeholders and partners
