The position

Our business within Digital Power is growing in Norway, and we are looking to add a colleague to our team. We are seeking an experienced sales engineer to take ownership of our Digital Power offer, and conduct proactive sales support both internally and externally, in close cooperation with Account Managers from all Businesses of Schneider-Electric. You will work to increase cross-selling opportunities with national accounts and our Partners, and/or as a part of a larger opportunities. The scope primarily includes Protection Relays, Arc Flash, RTU, Power Meters and Energy Management & Control System.

 

This means

You will manage and sell Energy Automation products (protection relays, arc flash, remote terminal units & substation Automation) solutions in line with the commercial strategy defined by the Account Managers to End-users and support our partners as well to promote and sell the same. As a specialized sales engineer, you be responsible for executing selected accounts plans, Go-to-Market-Strategies and channels to grow Energy Automation business with your customers. Manage project opportunities, being accountable for promoting prescribing, quoting, negotiation and closing of the deals in order to profitably grow Energy Automation sales.

 

The ideal candidate

  • Can communicate a compelling vision and inspire and motivate customers/ prospects to drive the business growth, combining these qualities with strong organizational and entrepreneurial skills
  • Has 5+ years’ experience in Energy Automation and solution sales, with closing deals and managing associated proposal
  • Has a technical education, preferably an engineering degree
  • Has previous experience in LV/MV Electrical System, relays , Power & Energy management systems. Experience in Energy and/or Utilities business knowledge of network automation devises
  • Understands and applies industry/market knowledge in client communication and dialog
  • Commands English & Norwegian language with fluency
