We are looking for a developer in our Core team. The team develops and manages the software foundation on which large parts of Signicat bases its development and operations.

You will work on the development platform, including tools for development, code management, testing and deployment.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain code and subsystems utilized by several other feature teams
• Help and support the feature teams in utilizing our subsystems/components 

• Select/source, build, deploy, maintain, monitor and support common platform components

Candidate requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related technical field involving coding
• Programming experience, preferably in Java
• Curious and interested in both technical and non-functional matters
• Ability to participate and drive technical diagnostics, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
• Security aware
• Good proficiency in the English language is a must (Norwegian or other Scandinavian language is a plus)
• Comfortable “working virtually” with teammates and customers around the world

Nice to have:

• 3+ years of Java experience

• Familiar with Jenkins, Nexus, GitLab and GitLab CI

• Knowledgeable or familiar with authentication and authorization protocols (SAML, OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect etc)

• Experience creating systems running in containers and orchestrators, preferably Docker and Kubernetes

• Experience with continuous deployment and grasp the responsibilities that come with deployment automation
• Experience with the ELK stack

• Knowledge or experience with AWS, Azure or Google Cloud and IaC software like Terraform
