ECO STOR AS is looking for software engineers to develop and implement proprietary software to enable delivery of a wide range of energy storage services to our customers
Embedded Software Engineer
Key requirements:
· Proficiency in C and/or C++
· Experience working on embedded real-time systems (RTOS).
· Familiar with ARM architecture and embedded protocols (USB, I2C, CAN bus etc).
· Experience with networking programming – programming with sockets.
· Familiarity developing in Windows and Linux operating systems.
· Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
· Version control and source code management using tools such as Git/ Atlassian.
· Excellent technical documentation skills.
Other Desirable Skills:
· Experience in XML, Python, JSON or other scripting languages is desirable.
Software Developer/Web Developer
Key requirements:
· Proficiency in C and/or C++
· CSS and JavaScript for frontend web development.
· Proficiency in Java, Python, PHP, and object-oriented design skills.
· Strong understanding of HTML5 semantics, CSS, and JavaScript Web APIs
· Experience with Visual Studio, PyCharm, Eclipse or other relevant IDE’s.
· Version control and source code management using tools such as Git/ Atlassian.
· Excellent technical documentation skills.
Other Desirable Skills:
· Familiarity with database management systems for SQL and NoSQL databases.
· An understanding of networking protocols and network security to support web applications.
· Experience developing applications for Android and iOS devices

From our offices in Oslo, we coordinate an international team that includes industry experts in the field of batteries and energy storage.
Agder Energi Venture invested in ECO STOR in 2019. Their financial strength and extensive network of partners and projects has now positioned ECO STOR to accelerate market introduction of its energy storage solutions utilizing Second Life electric vehicle batteries. In close collaboration with automotive OEMs the company will distribute energy storage in residential, commercial and grid-based applications. The company has recently secured several contracts for system deployment and is looking for new employees that would like to be part of a team that will help to shape the future of renewable energy.
